Meet The SLP

Mica is a seasoned speech-language pathologist with over a decade of experience serving school-aged children with a wide range of speech and language concerns. She has worked with 1–5-year-olds and adults periodically in recent years. Her expertise includes articulation, language, and stuttering.

Mica earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and went on to earn a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Woman’s University.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Mica enjoys traveling the world with her husband and “collecting” experiences. Her travels have broadened her perspective and enabled her to connect with clients from a variety of cultural backgrounds, facilitating a more family-centered therapy approach.

She is passionate about helping her clients improve their communication skills and achieve their goals. Mica offers compassionate, individualized care that focuses on achieving measurable outcomes.


Areas of Specialization


  • Speech sound disorders – difficulty or combination of difficulties with perception, production, or phonological representation of speech sounds. (Birth to 18)
  • Language – early language (joint attention, intentionality, gestures, body language, communicative signaling, etc.), pragmatics (social communication), phonology, morphology, semantics (vocabulary), and syntax (grammar and language rules). (Birth to 18)
  • Stuttering/ cluttering – speech fluency (All ages)
  • Cognitive – memory, attention, problem-solving, and executive functioning (All ages)
